Bjorn - Chapter 1 +unfinished+Hot sunlight poured down through the scant cloud-cover of the southern port of Severin. It bounced off of the pale white stone of the city’s more wealthy neighborhoods, and soaked into the dark wood of the poorer buildings. Severin was one of the more active ports on the Circle Sea, it’s placement at the mouth of the Burnell river delta making it the fastest route to inland transportation of goods. It was built, as many delta towns are, on canals and waterways, making the actual streets of Severin rare and generally made of wood platforms strung together that could handle the shifting luBjorn - Chapter 1 +unfinished+

Gave no succor against the dread
Of the endless black to the Fore
Then lashed was my soul, so tattered, so torn
The ragged shreds of life taken

Screaming at her with their wrath
Escape, Escape she thinks
Before her rose cavern dark
Into it’s gaping mouth
There to hide her spark
